A Benefit for Home

Greetings to the fine folks of Fairedale and beyond!

I, the Spokesman of Home's own House of Lords, wish to invite all to an auction this Saturday following the great diplomatic summit to be held in Icenia. This auction is to directly benefit the campaigns of the candidates currently in the running to succeed our late Queen Throttlebottom to the throne. Lend your aid and open your coffers as we offer up to you some of our most precious items!

To tease just a bit of what we're auctioning off, our big ticket items include the much-sought after Spirit Forge and Master Construct ritual scrolls! Come and see what else we have to offer!

In light of the recent state of emergency in Home, we will even offer a discount to the auction winners capable of paying in good silver.

Good Fortunes,
Lord Digby Goldsmythe
Spokesman of the House of Lords
Emissary of Home

Don't know much about Hob politics, but if you have to raise money to become King or Queen there does not that pretty much mean you don't have enough money to even be in that fight?

Dorgun the thrifty Osprey

My dear friend, if a single person could garner a hundred thousand gold in votes, would you not be impressed by his or her charismatic prowess?

Good Fortunes,
Lord Digby Goldsmythe

M'Lord,

I have read a lot about how Hoblings obtain wealth and say with true respect that some of your people have achieved amazing feats of applying the Value of Mastery to the "civilized" world. Your people's contracts will be given to promising children of the Osprey as both lesson and warning.

Dorgun, the "Hoblings are almost as good as Ospreys" Osprey

Easy way to think of it: anyone who is running already has the coin and the connections to play with the big kids. But you wanna be the host with the most. You wanna keep bringing wealth and contracts into Home and stuff like this is a way of showing it.

GOOD LUCK VARIOUS CANDIDATES.

Friend Evie,

Your words make sense, but Lord Digby said the auction was for the candidates, not one Lord's war chest. Why spread out the glory of bringing coin home?

Dorgun the culturally confused Osprey

Oi, Evie! You done having babies yet? There should be shenanigans, or at least hijinks.

Your Bored Cousin,
Rupert

To the winner of the auction of said Ritual Scrolls, The Black Forest has both catalysis for sale. If interested please contact a member.

THE BABY STORM HAS PASSED and all rejoiced.

Rupert. Vacation. We're doing it. Shenanigans, hijinks, capers, AND tomfoolery will occur.

Your equally bored cousin,
Evie P.N.M.
