Artisan

Artisans bring the world of Alliance to life through their non-combat skills. Masters of crafting, alchemy, and trade, they rarely fight but are vital to the event's economy and atmosphere. If you prefer roleplay, negotiation, and the thrill of a good bargain, Artisan is for you.

What kinds of things are they good at?

Artisans are the unrivaled experts in item creation and trade. They can tap into any crafting skill tree (brewing, tinkering, smithing, etc.), and their mercantile knowledge lets them sell goods for the best prices. They're the backbone of the settlement, with deep knowledge of items and materials, making them excellent negotiators and mediators.

What kinds of decisions do you need to make while building one?

Think about these questions when considering Artisan:

  • Roleplay Focus: Do you prioritize crafting and interactions over fighting?
  • Deal-Making: Are you comfortable bartering and selling your wares?
  • Item Knowledge: Are you happy to learn complex crafting recipes and item values?
  • Trading: Are you interested in roleplaying the sale of your crafted goods?

The Artisan class is exceptionally tuned to the manufacturing and sale of trade items. The Artisan has power, not through spells or weapons, but through crafting and wealth. Artisans do not excel in weapon use or spellcasting, but can be excellent merchants, craftsmen, and pure alchemists.
