On Behalf of Their Highnesses of Bomae:

Gandian Ravenscroft

Knight
Chicago Staff
Marshal
On behalf of Their Highnesses of Bomae,

Your negotiations with our nation’s ambassadors and successful completion of the task set to you are admirable, and the Viceroys certainly recognize and laud your prowess. In the wake of your recent meeting with their delegation, the Viceroys have been informed that Gaden is open to and eager for further discussions of international cooperation and coordination, to which His Highness Viceroy Setterstrom is particularly receptive.

Viceroy Setterstrom has heard tales of the accomplishments of what Gaden informally refers to as its “adventuring community,” and while he is impressed, he admits that he desires to personally see the talents of these valiant few before commencing direct negotiations with said community.

To that end, His Highness makes the following generous offer:

The Desmodu have proven to be a persistent thorn to Bomae for many years. Though the Desmodu clans are populous and scattered enough that their complete removal is impossible, reports from the recent negotiations indicated that the Gaden adventuring community has reason to believe that the Desmodu Superior the Bomaean Legion knows to be called “Kannanor the Bonesmith” potentially poses a notable threat above the others of his kind. Viceroy Setterstrom is grateful for this warning, and His Highness proposes that the destruction of this particular Superior and his clan would not only be a notable boon to the safety of the Bomaean people, but would also certainly be enough to prove the adventuring community’s capabilities and dedication to their cooperation.

This said, the Viceroy is willing to allow a 48-hour window for the adventuring community to reside within Bomae’s borders, during which time they are to attempt the task of bringing Kannanor the Bonesmith to his permanent death. If the adventurers are able to succeed before the end of this timeframe, his Highness shall be more than willing to meet with a delegation from Gaden to discuss matters. I will add that a personal meeting with a Viceroy of Bomae may be a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I hope that you will take the value of his proposal into consideration.

If the adventuring community of Gaden choose to accept His Highness’ offer, please respond with affirmation of intent and travel arrangements to Bomae shall be provided on the evening of the 21st of April.

Sincerest regards,
Jamison Hillbrand

Scribe Jamison Hillbrand,

It is the intention of the Adventuring Community of Gaden to accept the offer of Viceroy Setterstrom and prove our dedication to cooperation with the good people of Bomae. We will bring an end to the threat that Kannanor the Bonesmith poses to your people.
I happen to notice a distinct lack of Corrupt in Bomae, and it is my duty to make sure it remains that way. To this end my presence is required elsewhere. In my stead the Adventuring Community will have several other capable leaders willing to rise to the occasion. In the mean time please relay our heartfelt acceptance of the opportunity to represent Gaden's spirit of cooperation.

Walk with Honor,
Sir Victor von Gryphon
Knight of Gaden

Likewise, we are fortunate the Viceroy has extended an invitation to help further our relationships between our two great nations. I too am confident that perhaps Socora, Squire Valentino and Squire Fiona can take this upon themselves with the rest of the adventuring community.

Asher Oakheart
Lord of Horizon

Sir Von Gryphon and Lord Oakheart,

Thank you for your formal acceptance of His Highness' offer. He is pleased to hear of your confidence in your delegation, certain that they will perform most admirably and do both our nations proud.

Those among the adventuring community that intend to travel to Bomae are to meet on the northern edge of the town of Horizon on the evening of the 21st of April, where they will then be escorted by Viceroyal envoy to their lodgings in Bomae. Any additional information that the traveling group is to be informed of will be dispensed at that time. A Bomaean representative will remain in Horizon for the duration of the adventurers' 48 hours in Bomae, able to transport additional adventurers that miss the initial departure as necessary.

Sincerest regards,

I have question for Bomae. I have seen those of Bomae military cast necromancy with zeal but this thing is most forbidden in Gaden. It is against our laws and our morals such that for many Adventurers will attack on sight if they see one cast necromancy and are applauded because of it. So that our meeting may be peaceful me wish to address this subject respectfully so that conflict may be avoided.

Stone Seeker Ragnarok

Mister Ragnarok,

Necromancy is restricted to the populace and punishable upon use, except where sanctioned by an appropriate commanding officer of the Bomaean Legion for the Legion's task at hand. Given that the adventurers are invited on diplomatic terms and will not be located in an area where sanctioned Legionnaires' use of necromancy is to occur, the subject of your concern is an irrelevant non-issue and I advise you not to stress.

Mister Rambler,

Forgive me, but my duties are to convey information from His Highness regarding necessary diplomatic coordination and travel arrangements, not to discuss intricacies of savage bat humanoids. If you have questions regarding such creatures, I would ask that you direct them elsewhere from the Viceroy and I.

Sincerest regards,
Jamison Hillbrand

Uh hey, GRONK thought of sumtin. While we're in Bomae, are we gonna be allowed to put up Wards on da rooms or buildings?

GRONK

I would recommend refraining if possible GRONK that would be very disrespectful of the people of my culture.
-Roff

Uh yeah dat's why I'm asking da people in charge.

GRONK

Mister Gronk,

While wards and wizard locks may cause discomfort, we do recognize their usefulness to you and will allow their creation at your place of lodging. However, of the rooms available, the largest must remain completely free of wards and wizard locks to accommodate Biata travelers.

In addition, no ward or wizard lock may be created within the dining room of your lodgings, nor the entrance chamber to the sleeping quarters. Such barriers would eliminate access to the dining area, sleeping rooms, and Earth Circle. If they are constructed, know that a member of the Aether Leap will destroy said barriers at the expense of whoever constructed them.

Overall, we ask that you be respectful of our peoples' aversion and endeavor to not make your wards or wizard locks an inconvenience.

Sincerest regards,
Jamison Hillbrand

Thank you for making that exception, Scribe Hillbrand. We will ensure to follow those restrictions if any are cast.
