As some of you may have heard the Alliance LARP has changed hands today. Matt W. ( @Auric ) and David B. ( @Gilwing ) under the BFM Live Action Entertainment, LLC have purchased the rights from Jesse G. and Michael V. We would like to thank them for the support and creative effort they put forth over the years to help make the game we enjoy today.

We look forward to continued work and progress on 2.0 and improving the Alliance LARP organization. The owners and committees have been working hard on many aspects to further improve the game that we are excited about announcing in the future.

We will be receiving the current version of the Alliance LARP rulebook and players guide shortly and plan to build and edit them to better reflect our organization.

Feel free to reach out to us at any time with questions or concerns.

Let's start if off right. Why not hit up the general populace with some data-gathering about what they would like to see in the rules and player's handbook, or even what they'd like to see with Alliance in general?

Thank you for your concerns. We have information from the Diversity Committee which includes player concerns for both the Rulebook and the Players Guide. Mike V. is currently in the process of converting the rulebook and players guide to send to us. Once we get that we hope most of you will assist in updating the book in a way we are all proud of.

With the sale, were any components of the rules lost due to ownership (races, as an example)?

Hi Draven,

I'm happy to report that there were no rules changes as part of the ownership change. We'll have more to report about the transition soon, but please reach out (or post here) with any additional concerns.
