Sleep is listed as a 5 minute effect in both the effects chart and the spell description. Can you clarify what you mean further?

“Non-instant” is correct. Effects with an “Instant” duration do not stick around to be removed, they occur and have an immediate and lasting impact without a specific duration (such as a loss of armor or body points).
