This is the second year in a row we've had a February Event, and until we find a way to have summer Events, it's hard to get in eight events without February. This is the second time I can remember that we've had an event cancelled for weather in the past 5 years.

Not having been there in November... for those of us thinking about upgrading our armor significantly, are we using the "red headband" rules so we can try out more armor? Or do we have to make the investment first and then see if it's worth it? Thank you!

I mean maybe the purpose of these forums is to keep you aroused, but if so I have totally misunderstood them.

But Jeff, it's vastly harder to hit with a packet-arrow so you miss a lot more. How do we balance that against the vastly superior effectiveness of swords if we don't charge money for each arrow? Edit: Maybe we should consider charging for sword repairs between games per swing?

The main feedback I heard was that it just isn't worth it. Mending so little armor is basically a hit or two (assuming the goal is to avoid carrier effects). Something like 30 points of Mending might be worth it, but not as it is... so no one took it. A thought about adding arcane armor...
