Yes, whole purpose of the event is for the kids to be the heroes. Parents who are playing their PCs do not receive event credit; they're just there to "guide" the kids and for role-playing. You can go in-game and out-of-game as your PC as needed. For example, if there is a big battle or mod...

By the way, we hope to start the game around 8:00 pm on Friday night, if possible. I'll be onsite by late afternoon to unlock the camp and set up, so people can show up any time after, say, 4:00 pm. --- Eric Stehle / Ivan Drake
