The host chapter of the National Event keeps the donations after the event. It's a way for all of us to support the Alliance and also infuse the host chapter with lots of awesome props, costuming, and resources!

We're not including formal magic at this time because, while High Magic is limited, it still augments battle skills/capability. We may revisit this next year, but for this year we're going to stay with what's listed.

Yes! The event runs from Friday through Monday, although Monday will finish early in order to allow for the long distances many folks are traveling.
