    [0.10] Constant Damage Scaling

I don't really see the issue with high level players swinging for high numbers. If a level 30 is hitting as hard as two level 15s, it doesn't make the other players less useful. I run around with people 2-3 times my level. I still feel like I contribute.

0.10 - Weakness: To Nerf, or Not to Nerf?

Weakness competes with bind. Unless you're going to downgrade the spell level, it does not deserve a nerf.

[.10] Design Philosophy for Class Function and Balance

Rogue: I don't think I've ever played a game where rogues were the best at offence. Usually rogues are some mix of utility melee, stealth, and puzzle combat. I think "invisibility" mechanics are awful in LARPs, so that gives rogues puzzle combat and utility. Backstab does an ok job of...

[0.10] Potion Coating, Poison Cache, Poison Trigger

Probably the most broken ritual set in v.10

    v0.10 Terminate vs Eviscerate

Thematically, rogues are a higher damage class because of their limited window of application.

    v0.10 Terminate vs Eviscerate

This would make fighter 1hko strictly better than rogue 1hko. Don't you think that's a problem?

    v0.10 Terminate vs Eviscerate

Is everyone ok with Terminate being a strictly inferior OHKO? I think it's a little strange thematically to have fighters better at stealth kills than rogues. Is the 1XP discount worth only being able to use it from behind? Should the skill be buffed, given a larger discount, given more...

    v0.10 First impressions

I honestly don't expect people to meditate very many times per day until higher levels. But I agree that it should be replaced with "rest" instead of "anti-social item focus".

    v0.10 First impressions

Fighters would be benefiting from their own intercept. If you want to play a selfish fighter, scouts are a great alternative. The niche role fighters play in 0.10 is team based mitigation and they, fittingly, have the most resistance unlocks per level. Area traps function as single target...

    v0.10 First impressions

I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but after doing a couple build iterations of each class, I think people are heavily overreacting to v.10. Old rituals for dealing with takeouts: Everything: Spell Parry (has been nerfed), Cloak, Bane Immunities: Spirit Store Emergency Button: Store...

    v0.10 First impressions

I would probably still use bind if it was <10 seconds long. I mostly use it as an execute opener for martials.

    2.0 - A power gamer's dream come true?

As a low level character The new consumables are about 2x more useful than the current ones. I expect to get an absolutely ridiculous power bump regardless of which class I end up playing as. Examples of expendables: Shatter scrolls Healing is linear (I have a couple hundred CLW potions...

    v0.10 First impressions

Because the first worthwhile spell on the C list (other than disarm, assuming targets aren't all claws) wouldn't show up until level 4 and because command does just about nothing to a huge percentage of monsters. 1 packet of relevant CC is better than 1 packet of damage, regardless of defenses...

    v0.10 First impressions

Binding is about the only takeout worth memorizing consistently (because mobs have partial immunity instead of total) Giving unique access to binding and healing is pretty silly.

v0.10 - Poll - Perception of combat resolution

Healing goes way up Potency basically doubles scroll damage Potion Coatings give everybody packet healing There are so many more tools for doing just about everything. Downside is no more expanded enchantments, which I don't own.

    [.10] - Relics impressions

As a low level C scholar. Silences aren't very scary if you plan ahead. I'd way rather take silence than web.

    v0.10 Races

It's been my experience that the base races all come with more significant challenges roleplay wise than kyn do. MWE, stone elf and biata for instance all have strong, clear guidelines in place that lend themselves to interesting roleplay experiences out of the box. Kyn are (rules wise) humans...

    v0.10 Races

And you could also roleplay the same sarr traits while playing a human, but that doesn't help with immersion at all. Sarr feel like a race, they have social trends and habits. Kyn seem like a stat block with prosthetics.
