I would be interested but before I could commitmmit the time and money to go I would need to know that plot is planning to support this one. I dont want to drive a state away to find out its not happening.

I really don't dig racial slurs that are also real world slurs. I've heard people refer to dark elves as "darkies" and I always cringe, considering that is a racial slur in our culture that has been used by some pretty evil people. I agree with Ben on the notion of being careful what you use...

Are you looking, specifically in the east coast?

Mileage may vary based on the chapter you are playing in. In the NW we have given out additional information and mod hooks based on craftsman skills.

I think this is one of those regional issues, we don't see much in the NW. OR and Seattle use large private sites with lighting. So I doubt it would impact anyone's game in our neck of the woods. We do use glow sticks and such, for personal light sources, however.
