Just chapter owners? That's pretty cool anyway.

Although interesting makeup ideas, they are either time consuming and/or somewhat expensive. I would personally think they are more of a player thing that would help someone create a better costume than for NPC's. I think such vids as this one that shows some of the makeup techniques to add detail and so on but quickly and cheaply helps out for large zombie battles:
