Good gentles one and all, this is my first filk offering from the suggestions gathered recently. Please tell me what you think. I’ll start working on some others as soon as I may.

Goblin Green, to the tune of Dancing Queen by Abba,
in honor of Jena Lawson (Tzidle), who broke her elbow in two places this week.
Friday night and the lights are low,
Logistics going way too slo-ow,
Let’s go NPC crunchies,
Two normals we will swing and do the popcorn thing.
Don’t matter if you’re a girl or guy,
The PC’s we shall go defy.
“Give us all of your shineys and we might let you live.”
And then they slaughter you.
Still when you get your cue,
You put on Goblin Green
Cake paint’s not all that hard to clean—
Goblin Green, 3am hopped up on caffeine,
Oh yeah,
You can fight, you can die, am I on my fifth or sixth life?
Oo—oo—ooh,
Take my hand, NPC, put on the Goblin Green.
Gob’s the easiest one of all,
Swing two, take eight, and then you fall,
They search your corpse for treasure: anything will do,
Even a coin or two.
Then when they call on you—
You are in Goblin Green
Yes, you must be at least eighteen.
Goblin Green, just got killed out by the latrine,
Oh yeah,
You can lurk, you can beg, is this a short sword or a knife?
Oo—oo—ooh,
There’s a lull—get six folks to put on Goblin Green.
Put on Goblin Green—
I’m wearing Goblin Green,
Can’t wipe off Goblin Green…
