Alliance Quick Start Rules

I've created a document of Alliance "Quick Start Rules." It is essentially the 170 page Alliance Rulebook condensed down into 9.5 pages. To pull of this feat, most of the 'non-gameplay' rules were omitted and/or simplified to give a playable (but usually incomplete) understanding of how the rules work. The Quick Start Guide contains a thorough overview of things that a new player would need to know at game, but does not contain things that aren't essential to active play (no character creation, no skills, no race descriptions, no fluff, no construction rules, no traps, no economy, no production rules, etc). This is the beta version of the Quick Start Guide, if you have feedback, additional comments, or suggestions (or catch errors, but not really omissions, since that's the point) let me know so the Guide can be improved.

The Quick Start Rules shouldn't be used as a substitute for having an actual rulebook, but hopefully it is something that you can share with new players to help them get a functional understanding of the game without being intimidated by the entire book.
