Alliance SF welcomes players of all ages. However, for safety and liability reasons, we do place some restrictions on players under 18 years of age.

Our chapter refers to players under these restrictions as Pages. A full Page may not engage in any combat and must immediately remove themselves from combat if it occurs. Other players may not engage them in combat and must allow the Page to remove themselves if necessary. Pages may not purchase weapon skills or carry weapons. They must wear an orange headband at all times in order to identify themselves to other players as a Page.

Partial Pages may be allowed to participate in combat in limited fashion. Generally, this will mean participating in smaller fights only, but this rule of thumb may be modified by on-site staff, including management, Plot staff, and safety marshals, depending on the conditions of a particular combat scenario. Partial Pages must wear a yellow headband at all times in order to identify themselves.

All players under the age of 14 years old are automatically considered Pages in our chapter and require a parent or guardian to accompany them on site for the duration of the event. The parent or guardian is responsible for the actions of the underage player at all times during the event. The parent or guardian must sign a liability waiver for any potential injuries while at the event. Any player under the age of 14 may be able to be partially Paged for the event at the discretion of the General Manager and the Head of Plot for that campaign.

Any player 14 years of age or older and under 18 years of age will be considered a partial Page for the event and may be considered a non-Page character for the event at the discretion of the General Manager and the Head of Plot for that campaign. Any player under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver for any potential injuries during the event. Any player over the age of 14 is not required to have a parent or guardian on site, but must be dropped off and picked up from site by a parent or guardian.
