Good Evening Adventurers,
We have learned that the restrooms in the Training Building are being worked on currently, and as a result, we will have no indoor toilets, and only one sink available during game. The Petersen lodges have a latrine building, and we have ordered an ADA Complaint Portable Toilet with hand sanitizer (potentially its own sink, we are unsure on this) to be delivered for our stay. We will have an indoor sink to use in the kitchen of the Training Building. We have also ordered some mirrors and plastic wash basins to accommodate more than one person at a time. On top of this, we have been granted access to other buildings' restroom facilities, but on a limited basis and only during non-sleeping hours (8am - 10pm). Also note that some of these buildings are quite far from our area on site, and they will be occupied by non-LARP groups this weekend.
The bathrooms will be completed by our May event, and we have additionally reserved the Valley View Lodge for the May event to facilitate our increased number of players and ensure everyone has working restrooms.
All other events at Fred C. will be played from our regular Swanson Lodge which we all know has great facilities!
Since we have had an abundance of snow this year, please be aware that camp is wet and muddy and plan accordingly. Jonathan, Ryan C., and I will be touring the site on Thursday next week to scout out the best mod spaces. We will update you in this thread with more information if necessary, but for now, please ensure you have many extra pairs of socks and a good pair (or two!) of boots with ankle support: Let's strive for no rolled ankles this year!
