In our continuing effort to give our players the best possible experience with innovative play, Alliance Southern Minnesota is proud to present our latest off - The Town wide Save Point!
Designed to encourage players to work together to explore possibilities that they would otherwise be unable to experience the Town wide Save Point allows for the experiencing of exciting new story lines without having to worry about the consequences. Ever wonder what would happen should the adventurer's storm the King's Castle and seize power? Tired of uppity Dragons being too big for their britches? Well now there is a way to explore those BIG moves with a safety net.
Here is how it works!
The Town Save Point costs a $250 donation to help alleviate the extra costuming and work it requires. In order to 'own' the Save Point a Player must either be a Noble of a Knight/Lord status or higher. OR be a player in good standing for at least 2 years. Only one player per event may hold the Town Save Point Power.
At Logistics for any game where the Save Point has been Purchased, all Players will be given a special 'Save Sachel' Bag that will contain a second copy of their battle board. When the Save Point is call all players will copy their current battle board, as well as any used MI effects and store it into their Save Sachel. After that point any Production tags used will not be destroyed but instead stored in the Save Sachel. Once that's all done, Play continues as normal (or as crazy as you like! You've got a Save Point!)
Plot will make a note of any plot related aspects on the Save Point and play continues until the caller then calls to revert the save point (if they so choose, you don't have to use it!) Save Points expire at the end of the event so make sure you carefully consider when and how to use it!
