Armor and Class Restrictions

Are you allowed to wear more armor than your class is restricted to, even if you are willing to let your points be capped at the limitations?

Example: If I were a scholar that wanted to wear heavy chainmail and some other pieces that would normally be calculated to 20 AP, but at sign-in I agree to only have 15AP as long as I can still wear the armor.

You can wear as much armor as you want! The class restrictions only apply to the size of the armor tag you can use.

Yep. As Kyle said, you could be clad head to toe in heavy plate as a scholar, as long as your tag isn't higher than the max you can wear, that's fine. One caveat though. If for whatever reason you have a tag that's too big, you have to physically rip it down to a value you can wear before you get the benefits of armor.
