The Baronial Court of Rivervale is pleased to invite the Squires of Acarthia to attend a lesson of the School of Chivalry. This month's instruction will focus on:

How to Conduct an Interrogation

This lesson will focus on the practical aspects of questioning a prisoner for information, how to determine the right person to question, consider thoughtfully the questions to ask which a prisoner is likely to know how to answer, subtle differences in questioning between a prisoner who is disposed to help you and one who is disposed to hinder you, and the right time and place in which to conduct an interrogation. Additionally, this lesson will also touch on consideration of law and ethics in the treatment of prisoners, particularly regarding the use of Charm spells or threats made against one taken into our care.

This lesson is open to the public, to any lawful traveler through New Acarthia who wishes to join the discussion.

Your discussion leader, Dame Katherine Albright, First Knight of Rivervale and lecturer in Chivalry and History at the Moorefield Keep College of War, will meet the squires in the tavern after dinner at 7 bells in the evening of Saturday, 9 June 418. Dame Katherine respectfully requests that the squires consider the appropriate location where the lesson may take place, given the altered circumstances within New Acarthia, and prepare amongst themselves to move the lesson appropriately after meeting at 7 bells.
