Circle of Power - The "Bottom"

So a few marshals and I were trying to work out some esoteric rules conundrum:

A) Does a Circle of power have a "bottom": ie, is there a plane of force at the bottom of the circle, separating the caster from the surface he'd normally be standing on?

B) If so, is the bottom of the circle always where the circle rep is?

C) Can you "push" the circle into the floor/ground/etc? What about the ceiling?

D) If a circle rep is rigid, can the edge of the circle extend off of a surface?

"Must be drawn in the dirt, or..."

Thus, any circle not against the floor surface would be illegal. While it's true that the spell allows other reps, the intent that it must be against solid ground is pretty clear.

A) Per above, yes, the rep would be the bottom.

B) Since the circle is described as 10' tall, the intent would appear to mean that its ten feet from the bottom of the circle. So, if you had a circle on a deck, I suspect it would be utterly legal to crawl under the deck. I think this is a necessary truth, as well, as I feel that the ability to see the phys rep is necessary to acknowledge the presence of the Circle and abide accordingly.

C) Nothing can lean against it, so no, you could not push it into something.

D) Per above, no.
