If you have a bottle and you loose it / it gets stolen during an event, you currently take a death.

What if you have an item recall on the bottle, can you instead turn in the item recall tag? what if the recall is from another chapter?

And while the subject is up: if an item you have recalled in chapter X is stolen in chapter Y, can you after the event have a marshal get the item for you from the player in chapter Y because IG you will go to back to chapter X and recall the item? or do you have to hope that the player who stole it plays chapter X?

This post is to inform you that your question is currently being discussed by the ARC and once some clarification has been made, will be posted here (removing this post). Depending on the level of clarification and discussion (and potential involvement of the Owners or other national staff, if needed) this may take time.

Item Recall does not have any special rules in regard to Controlled Spirit Store. This means that whenever you travel with an item under the effect of an Item Recall, the Item Recall will obey the normal rules of cross-chapter Item Recalls as noted on the scroll: You cannot Item Recall an item from another campaign without prior consent from both campaign plot committees.

A plot staff may choose to work with the plot staff from another chapter to allow this on a case-by-case basis, but the expectation should be that Item Recall does not work in chapters where it is not cast.

Item Recall states that: If the ITEM is not locatable by out of game means (i.e. someone is lying, unavailable, or the item was moved off site) then the Item Recall tag is attached to the magic item tag for the item (which should be in a campaign determined location) on the ring, or placed on the magic item tag ring. The Marshal must then go to the circle of power and inform the recaller that his recall has seemed to fail. The Marshal should then inform the rules and the plot committee of the issue, so that it can be resolved in the future. If the item turns up it should be returned to the person who recalled the item.

In the case of a CSS bottle, the bottle tag should be rewritten by the original campaign if these circumstances (the item is lost) come to pass, whereupon a death will be marked on the player's card. The chapter in which the bottle was lost should be informed, such that if the item is found it will be destroyed, *not* sent back to the person who recalled the item as would be normal.
