In the Shadow of the Empire
“The silver fog’s tendrils waft and creep towards the Jade Koi pond. A dark fly flees from the silver fog. It is not proper for the Koi to eat the fly that so unwittingly hovers above its pond. It is best to stay below till the water's surface clears of both fog and fly.” - Da Tsoi, fortuneteller of Star-Tiger house of the Xiaohai Provence
The White Tenebrous Walkers continue, amongst other things, their pursuit of the fugitive known as Khef, the former apprentice to Kelu the Voidbender. The players first traveled from the Tower of Brimm’s Watch all the across Tharros and to the Yabloko Orchards. Now as they help the caravan of Trader de Nobilita towards Xiaohai, their pursuit seems to be drawing to a close.
The White Tenebrous Walkers needed to make their way across the treacherous crushing rapids of the Great Xia-Ong or Great White River. The river that divides Tharros and Tian is massive and wild. With the help of a local Xiao, Junk Captain Liang, who seems to be good friends with Trader de Nobilita, all set sail. Captain Liang manages the rapids with an almost supernatural sense of calm and foresight; the voyage is rough but manageable. It becomes clear to all that a journey across the river without an expert captain would result in a painful and watery death.
With a few quick stops along the way the Captain makes it clear you will quickly reach the floating city Xiaohai by the Seventh of Nemesia (10/7). Liang also makes it clear that Khef will be there. When pressed on the matter he simply states with an almost dreamy look in his eyes “Because it is meant to be so.”
But what else lies in store for the White Tenebrous Walkers in this floating city between two kingdoms? What other perilous dangers and wondrous treasures does this pearl of Tian hold? In October venture forth and unravel the mysteries that lie in the Shadow of the Empire!

Meals are provided for cast and crew. If you are a guild member, or are planning on NPCíng please let us know so we can feed you.
