The following is tacked to the bulletin board of the Tarndale Meeting Hall:
Greetings friends, new and old,
After the happenings this last weekend I find myself motivated. I know that many of our guests from the portal have shown interest in helping shoulder the current burden on food supplies. Some have taken to bringing supplies through the portal, a perilous venture indeed, considering the recent activities in the night.
I propose a different kind of solution, a permanent one. One full day's hard march from Tarndale is an abandoned farmstead that is perfect for our needs for many reasons. The problem is, a number of local creatures have driven off anyone who has tried to retake the farm and it has been left untended for 10 years. I believe, with some effort from our new friends, Daybreak Farmstead could be ours again.
If we are successful, within a year's time we should have the farm fully operational. Those who invest their time into this matter shall share in its rewards.
The first task will be to take a trip out to the farmstead and see what needs to be done. I intend on leaving early morning Friday with a goal to arrive and Daybreak by noon Saturday the 28th. If you would like directions or wish to provide escort, please come see me at the shop.
