Camp Kiwanilong is located in Warrenton, a short distance from Fort Stevens Park. The camp is somewhat more rustic than many are used to, lacking electricity and heat in all but one cabin. As such, bring extra blankets and battery powered light sources. The dining hall and bathrooms are modern, with heat and electricity.

If you do not have one of the heated/wired bunks, you may use a catalytic or Mr. Heater propane heater that has a tip over shutoff. If you use a propane heater, 6 square inches of ventilation must be provided to ensure safe oxygen levels in the cabin. Heaters must be kept away from tapestries; no items should be placed within 24 inches of the heater. The unheated & unwired cabins each sleep 8 people. There will be one larger cabin with electricity in the IG area.

Like the Silver Falls Ranches, Camp Kiwanilong does not provide mattresses, bring your own camp pads for your comfort, they will also help keep you warmer. Also, like some of the ELC's, paper towels are not provided (TP is), so donations of paper towels for general use and clean up is appreciated.

At this site, the following locations, in addition to standard non-combat areas, are no combat zones: All docks, boathouse and suspension bridge. No swimming or boating is permitted, please use judgment and caution around the shores of the lakes.

The road to Camp Kiwanilong is hidden in the parking lot of the Warrenton soccer fields, if you google directions, search for "Camp Kiwanilong Road" not Camp Kiwanilong, or you'll end up across the lake. Same goes for GPS.

Any questions, please ask!

The kitchen at Kiwanilong is smaller than at Brooks, so please be patient with our NPC cooks. I will be bringing a BBQ for those who want to use it, it's a medium sized charcoal style grill, but it runs on 1lb propane canisters. If you'd like to use it, just bring a canister of propane for yourself to cook with, it'll be outside the kitchen all weekend.

Camp stoves and BBQ's would not be a bad idea if you are not a patient person :mer:

If anyone is wondering when the best time to arrive on-site is, please do not arrive before 3:30pm.

The camp does not house anyone on-site and we have to go through their check-in process before we can allow anyone to start running around.

If you do arrive before 3:30 you will be stuck sitting in your car.

If you do arrive early go into Astoria it's a cool place! I hear there is a really badass comic shop there.
