Greetings!
Spring is on the way! And we've got a big announcement to come along with it!
Some of you may remember a ways back when the National Staff said that we were going to impliment some major changes to our forums. Well... the time has come!
We've already done phase 1 by installing our team of Paladins to help keep things civil and polite. We've had some growing pains, but the system has been working pretty smoothly.
Phase 2 is going to be put into play on Saturday March 31, 2012 when our Admin takes the forums down at 11am. He'll make the appropriate changes and then put the boards up by midnight so we can start using the new forum layout.
Here are some of the highlights of the upcoming changes.
There you have it folks! These are some exciting changes!
If you have specific questions/comments/concerns please direct them to the appropriate discussion thread in the "General Discussions" forum.
Thanks!

Phase 2 is going to be put into play on Saturday March 31, 2012 when our Admin takes the forums down at 11am. He'll make the appropriate changes and then put the boards up by midnight so we can start using the new forum layout.
Here are some of the highlights of the upcoming changes.
1. The "Rules" forum is being broken up into three different subforums.
a. There will be a "Rules Discussions" subforum for lengthy debates on current rules, regional interpretations, and other similar topics.
b. There will be a "Marshal Questions" subforum that will function in a similar manner to the ARC forum with the exception that any Marshal can answer the posts. Once a question is answered appropriately the topic will be locked (and likely renamed) to allow for the forum to grow as a rules resource as time goes on.
c. There will be a "Theorycraft" forum to allow people to discuss rules proposals and suggestions that are not a part of the official rules.
2. The New Player Questions forum will be divided into two different subforums.
a. A "Discussion" subforum that will allow new players to ask questions about what events are like, chapter availability, etc. We will also be looking to some of our more experienced players to create FAQs and Guides for us to sticky here. Ideally, we would like every chapter to be able to provide new players the link to this section (if they would like) so they can get a decent idea of what the game experience is like.
b. A "New Player Rules Discussion" subforum to allow new players to ask questions and get specific answers. We think that the rules forum might be a little intimidating for truly new players, so this should end up being a kinder and gentler place.
3. We will be combining the "IG Races" board and the "IG Fortannis" Board into one combine forum for all global in game communication. This is really just to help streamline the boards and ensure that there is as little confusion and overlap as possible.
There you have it folks! These are some exciting changes!
