Happenings of the Week 12/6

Duke
Disjunction and communications are back after the shades fall, the news of his defeat quickly spreads and helps to stiffen the resolve of the long fighting army.

Surprise assaults by small corrupt forces appear early Sunday morning far in advance of the corrupt lines to the west. While the assaults achieve surprise and cause significant damage, military advisers breath a sign of relief noting that the vast majority of the surprise attacks happened within a few miles of extremely important logistical targets, including bridges, store houses, and depots.

Sarr groups in the grass lands begin to have more success against the invading corrupt, able to finally chase down what appears to be a new form of corrupt that serves as a mobile node. Noting that previously they had always seems to move well away from any fighting, they are much less mobile in the previous week and assasin packs taking them down at the outset of engagements weaken the advancing line to be vulnerable to commands.

Pratorian and Gaden reserves finally arrive at the Anvil to reinforce the line.

Diplomatic ties with Roskaria strain as the Gaden army requests significantly large numbers of additional command gasses to help deal with the advancing corrupt. Many Mystic crafters come close to refusing to continue to supply the army until Kirna Lightfoot steps in to help fill the need with his own Hobling and Human crafters, leaving the Mystics to create the varied other needed alchemical substances.

King Talon, flank with Solars from the celestial guild and what appears to be ministers from the Monolithic Council appear on the Western fort line. Those in the area note they seem to be focusing on the defensive fortifications and making notes. One week later ritual casters from the Celestial guild, along with Pratorian appears along the fort line and cast an unknown ritual. This causes the rocky out croppings to rise up from the ground ranging outwards from each keep. The end result being a still difficult line to hold, but one with much fewer holes that must be covered.
