a dream is a wisp of a thing

not meant to last

most have minutes

hours for some

hopes, aspirations, on occasion a truly great nightmare

to these things do years belong

i grow tired of waiting

sharks in the water and you call to the minnow

splash if you must, but splash quickly

We both know a minnow does not make nearly the same splash as a shark but hundreds can be blinding. Perhaps you or a friend of your could met with me prior to this weekend to talk about how the last year has been.

this fly was safe with the tiger, well beneath its notice, but the housecats will gladly hunt me down given the chance

we saw the stonework but we forgot the house was a castle until he returned

ignored the chair until he reminded us it was a throne

it all clicked back into place

but then you lot came along, and things finally got interesting again! HA!

but the brothers and sisters that slept in his bedchambers have woken up now

and they see the throne

and they remember

still plenty of room for squatters, though

for now at least
