Millersylvania Cleanup - 2013

We've been using Millersylvania for many years, and we'll be using it for nearly all of our future events whenever we have the option. As some of you know, they've gone through a number of different people who were acting as the ranger over the last few years, mostly due to state budget cuts. They dropped from four full time rangers to zero, and now they're back up to one, and it looks like it'll stay that way for the foreseeable future. This means that site cleanup from big winter storms will be a little slow and that they need our help to keep the park cleaned up and functional. To this end, they're having several cleanup days where the various groups who use the site can get together and help out clearing brush, painting cabins, etc. You can get out there and meet the other people who use our site and not be dressed in a costume! They need skilled and unskilled labor for the various projects that they'll need help with, so if you know something specialized like plumbing, they need you, but if you can pick up branches, they need that too.

Right now they've only got one cleanup weekend scheduled, and there's not many details to be had (probably because we're pre-storm season still, but we'll probably see it first-hand in February or April), but we're going to be awarding Goblin Stamps (or maybe something better, keep checking back!) to anyone who volunteers to help the site.

The current scheduled cleanup weekend is:
May 10-12, 2013

We hope you can make it! (It's unfortunately over SA, but it's scheduled entirely by the park.)
