NOTE: I apologize if there is already a thread with costuming websites in it.

So this website may already be well known but I thought I would write about it just in case.
http://www.medievalcollectibles.com

I having been looking around for a while and they seem to have a few good things, if not more, for a reasonable price. I personally came to it to find some plate greaves and I think I found a pretty good deal for $28.00 http://www.medievalcollectibles.com/p-5658-steel-warrior-greaves.aspx.

Half the fun in LARPing is the costume! :)

PS - If anyone knows of any good LARP websites with cheap products please post it here or send me a message. Thanks :D

Wow. Medieval Collectibles has become a lot more affordable since the last time I visited their site (about 6 years ago). They used to be akin to a high quality version of Museum Replicas with some extremely expensive, yet super high quality, weapons, armor, baubles, and some really high quality movie replica stuff (such as Lord of the Rings).

It seems they have become more tailored to medieval reinactment and people that like to decorate their home with medieval looking stuff.

Seth,
I got all of Alcandar's gear from medieval collectibles.

It can be hard to find nice medieval clothing for men in XXXL sizes. I got a nice, round collar, button up shirt in black cotton at http://www.tobeapirate.com/

Ignore the eye patch and the red sash, and it's a nice shirt (also available in white) - too many of these other shirts look like the "The Puffy Shirt" from the Seinfeld episode of the same name:

They also do two different extra extra large pants, like these:

 but I don't want someone to see me in these and come up to me singing M.C. Hammer's "U Can't Touch This"
