Need an IG land that fits this scenario

As many of you are aware, I am editing a book of short stories taking place on Fortannis. (If you're not aware, check here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7250 )

One submission that was accepted involves two countries next to each other, with one allowing slavery. The author is not an Alliance player and so just made up some land names. Now this is fine -- Fortannis is a huge world and this could take place in somewhere that we haven't discovered yet through the mists! -- but I'd rather use an already existing IG place if possible.

Does this fit anyone's IG chapter? If so, I need the names of the two places along with a local elven wooded area in the nonslave country.

I think there was something like that at nationals where the sheiks allowed slavery and wanted to help, but i don't know anything about the land and the situation,

Traverse City.

Valdanis versus Ebrindale

Not sure of the current situation of Seattle's world, but Andar warred with Llantry and Llantry allowed slaves and hunted gypsies like foxes. And Scavengers, including Sarr, were quarantined to their own dangerous city-prison and mwes were kept as pets. Llantry was a bad place.

Which is which? The good guy lands need to have an elven forest somewhere near the border, too.

Valdanis is the good guys. Ebrindale is the slave country. Can't help you on the elven part, I'd post down on the TC boards. I just travel there a few times, a local might have a better idea.

Mike,

The Ternian Empire, which rules the largest landmass in all of Terna borders the Eternal Leaf Corwn (elven kingdom). Towards the southern portion of their border there are two spots which could work. There is a small chain of heavily forested islands which are "claimed" by the Elves or near the middle of their shared border rthere is a forested region known as "Southwood" or "Sar Sindarin" depending on if you ask the Ternians or the Elves.

Thanks,

Paul
