New for 2016, Gifts of The Sheltered Lands (Goblin Expenditure options)

Inspired by similar systems in other Chapters, Alliance Southern Minnesota is proud to announce our new "Gifts of the Sheltered Lands" Program. A Gift package is a set of themed abilities that can be purchased pre-event with goblin stamps to give a slight boost to role playing and in game abilities for a weekend. All packages function only for the weekend (or single day event) they are purchased and are not transferred. These packages are considered on spirit (so you must have room) and persist through resurrection.

Each package offered has an in game source that has already been tapped at least once via a PC action. Packages will change, having options added or removed as PCs interact with our world. It is important to note that while "Gift" packages do not have some of the usual drawbacks that a similar option in game might require, they may come with make up or RP requirements. Failing to adhere to these requirements may limit your options in the future for Gift purchases at plots discretion.

In Game all of these packages tend to appear shortly before game (The higher concentration of power and danger around market days drawing them out) Each Gift will be noted as a Player or Character choice. If listed as a Character choice, your PC made the intentional decision to accept the gift from the source of it's power, even if they do not know what that is.

Please note the Packages cost is subject to change depending on usage during the 2016 season.

Current Gift Packages. Cost - 150 Goblin Stamps per

Chimeric Spirit of <Element> - Character Choice
Make up Requirement - Elemental Style markings on face, on or near eyes.
Role Play Requirements - A Strong Desire to improve the world for that element/remove it's opposite if encountered.

25 point Elemental Pool of Element, thrown in packets of 5. (5 Elemental Ice!)
2x Elemental Blade <Element Chosen>
2x Cloak <opposing element>

Stregnth of the River - Player Choice
RP Requirements - PC has a desire to act Honorably and upright

x3 Magic Bless
x3 Magic Shield
x3 Magic Endow

Vitality of the Crown Ancients - Character Choice
RP Requirement - Character will have a sense of general Calm/optimism.

2x Magic Endow
25 point healing pool, used in sets of 5 (5 Magic Healing) - Note does not refresh at logistics.
1x Magic Purify - Self Cast only.

Boon of Fortannis - Character Choice, Earth Guild (on Weapon)

1x Activated Earth Blade on Weapon (as per MI) (Spell Crafted)
1x Spell Strike Destroy Undead (Spell Crafted)
2x Cloak Chaos (Spell Crafted)
Comes with Spell Shield, Magic Armor, and Bless

Boon of the Sorcerer - Character Choice, Celestial Guild (On Item) Pick one Element

2x 20 <Chosen Elemental> Burst (Spell Crafted)
1x Elemental Blade <Chosen Element Only> (Spell Crafted)
1x Bane Evocation (Spell Crafted)
1x Bane <Chosen Element> (Spell Crafted)
Comes with Spell Shield, Magic Armor, and Shield

Renewed Breath of Hope - Player Choice
RP Requirement - Character feels vigorous and has a mild distaste for Stone magic.

2x Free Disjunction (With the Breath of Hope, I Disjunct this circle)
2x Elemental Lightning Bolt
1x +2 Monster Slayer of Choice (spell crafted on "Primary" weapon)

Note, the Guilds have gotten in on the action and begun offering select packs of spellcrafting to people who have helped them.
 
Can a PC have more than one boon at a given time?

EX: Ragnarok really wants to be super cool and awesome this weekend and really want to have BOTH the vitality of a crown ancient and the boon of fortannis. Can Ragnarok be as cool as he wants to be?

No Currently we are only allowing one package for any given event. If Ragggles gets too much cooler there could be problems.

Question 2: do the gifts refresh with logistics?

EX: Ragnarok got super mad fighting an undead and spells struck it into the ground and used one of his cloaks on its necromancer over Lord. Later that night after logistics he decides it a great idea to fight the Shade and his undead minions. Will he have 2 cloaks to try and not die as fast as he would with only one?
 
Yes for the vast majority, all effects follow the rules of the standard effects.

From the above list ONLY the Healing pool from the crown Ancients does not refresh at logistics.
 
Is the Disjuct that comes from the Breath of Hope specific to Earth or Celestial circles, or can it be used for either one?
 
It can be used for either one, the power could best be thought of as similar to an Artifact in nature.
 
Is it safe to assume one does not need to be marked for disjunction in order to use the free disjunction with breath of hope?
 
It is safe to assume so.
 
Yes the Boons are available for the castle.
 
Please note due to PC actions one of the boons has disappeared and another has arisen!
