Production Wild Cards

Production wild cards are the green tags that you would find as treasure or buy from merchants in game. The tags represent pure sources of material components for use in making items in the game.

The tags have a title_:[Fizzywig Root]
A production type____:[alchemy]
A copper value______:[25 copper]

The Wild Card tags may be turned in by a merchant (at logistics) for its value in coin, They may be sold to pcs and npcs in game.

Wild Cards may also be redeemed by production skills for production items of the same type. This is done under the following conditions:

#1. You must possess a lab of the appropriate type.

#2. You must have ranks in that type of production to equal in production points what the tag is worth in copper. (in the example tag above, you must have 5 ranks in Alchemy (25pps) to redeem a Fizzywig Root)

#3. At logistics you show your ranks in production, you lab and your recipe/spell book (if necessary). THIS DOES NOT USE YOUR PRODUCTION FOR THE DAY.

#4. You hand the tag over and it is immediately redeemed for production items worth up to the value of the tag, for NO ADDITIONAL COST in coin or production use. (with the example tag above, it would be worth 25pp worth of alchemy items. i.e. 1 Laugh Gas (25) –OR- 1 poison shield (20) and a liquid light (5) = 25)

#5. The entire tag is consumed at the time of redemption. You do not get change back.

#6. You must redeem each tag individually. You may not combine tags. You may redeem as many tags as you wish, they do not use your daily allotment of production points to redeem.

#7. Because of the tedious nature of this process, please figure out what you are wanting to redeem prior to showing up at logistics.

Production Wild Cards can do other things as well but that you have to find out in game. =D

I thought it was 10x ranks for what you can use (what you can process in one sitting with a workshop) if it's not that's okay, just changes things drastically as you'll have to be a master, instead of journeyman to be able to process all the various bits.

You would have to be a Master (20 ranks) to trade in a 100 copper piece wild card.

A Journeyman (10 ranks) could trade in a 50 copper piece wild card.

This is done for the players spending the non-combat build get something to do with it and because no production points or additional gold is spent in redeeming the wild cards.

Hope this clarifies.
