Prospective players for next season?

Hello, my friends and I were looking to getting into a larping community as of recently. (We're big fans and players of D&D and thought this would be a really fun experience!) Currently 3 of us are currently interested in becoming PC's and we just were looking for tips where to begin. Ive been reading the handbook and its just alot of information to take in at one time any help would be appreciated thanks!
