This very night a strange storm brews over New Acarthia and a slight trembling can be felt in the earth. The sky begins to crack with green lightning as a strange vortex of swirling clouds form centered over the life grove. A massive trunk like pumpkin stem or stalk stretches skyward towering ominously over New Acarthia and the Howllingwoods sequoia like reaching into the vortex itself. The stalk reaches miles into the sky before disappearing into the strange vortex. It seems madness to attempt such a climb surely one would tire and fall before ever hoping to reach the top.
