Question about humans

Greetings! I was reading the players guide and saw that humans "may not enjoy the taste of either food nor drink; all taste as ash within their mouths."
Should I roleplay this accordingly? Or has something changed?

I think that was cured. I believe just field resurrection is the only thing left from the curse.

The only effect remaining from the human curse is the field resurrection, which means that instead of rezzing in the earth circle, you undergo a painful and harrowing resurrection outside of the circle. This is a roleplay-only effect; most human players choose to allow it to give lasting emotional or mental consequences.

Humans can totally taste food and drink, and they are once again capable of growing food or hunting without having their efforts wither away.
