Regarding Group DTs

Hello all,

Things may not have been made clear as regards sending in Group Downtimes.

When a Group Downtime is created and sent in, all PCs who desire to be involved should be CC'ed on the email sent into Plot. Then, each CC'ed PC MUST respond back to that email, making sure that the response includes the Plot email as well as the email of whomever sent the original in the first place (Reply all works fine for that).

Only those that respond back that they are ok with being involved will be considered to be part of that Group Downtime. Those that do not respond back will not be included in the Downtime Response.

The deadline for Downtime requests is past, but we are going to allow an extension until midnight on Wednesday for Group Downtime responses ONLY, so that people who were not aware of how this functioned may have a chance to participate in said Group Downtimes.

Have you had a rash of PCs being involved with DT actions they didn't want to be to warrant the need for an active acknowledgement (rather than a passive not-contradicting the email they're cc'd on)?

We have had many people be CC'ed on multiple downtimes. We have had people say they are doing someone's group downtime, without that person sending in a group downtime. We have gotten mixed messages and we are trying to alleviate the confusion.

We need to have a better system in place that helps clarify where people are going and who people are working with. We also do not want someone using another player just to get a second downtime.
