Shakespeare in the Dark (Recommendation)

Those with a mind towards literacy and a love of both humor and the Bard, read on:

Author Christopher Moore ("Lamb", "Bloodsucking Fiends", "A Dirty Job", etc.) just came out with his latest masterwork, "Fool", which I finished today and highly recommend.

The story is set in Shakespeare's "King Lear", and the main character is Lear's fool. One wouldn't expect to find so many laughs in one of the Bard's tragedies, but there you are. If you've a fancy for the funny bone and enjoy that Old-Time Theatre, rush out and have a read. You won't be disappointed.

There's even a ghost. (There's always a bloody ghost!)

Warning: This is a bawdy tale, full of "adult" themes: Murder, maiming, gratuitous shagging, treason, split infinitives, and complete nutters. It's fantastic!

Just sayin',
ChrisO
