Shield Question

I have a latex shield (not homemade) and I was wondering if I still had to put foam and duct tape around the edge?

Depends on a few factors. Id have to see it but the few that Ive seen look great and were fine. It would still need to follow dimensions and not have long sharp points sticking out.

That shied should already be foam all around, you wouldn't need additional foam on top of it, no.
