Shortbow and longsword

Hi,

It seems to be common practice that since the Two Weopons skill allows us to use a longbow with a shortsword, many also use a shortbow with a longsword. However, the rulebook only states the first of these is allowed, from what I can see. Is the second allowed?

An update was missing from the rulebook which should have been added several years ago. Combined with the updates to weapon construction guidelines from last year, the last section under Archery should state:

If the archer has the Two Weapon skill and is using a short bow then they may use it with a Long weapon or with a one handed spear.
