Spending additional points on skills for higher levels

Hello,

Just attending my first meeting and I am trying to spend the points gained.

Once you buy a skill, do you have to spend the same price every time to get another point? So, if I spend 2 BP on craftman lvl 1 to get the skill, do I have to spend 2 more to get craftman lvl 2? Or do I only need to spend 1 point for lvl 2 after buying lvl 1?

Any skill that can be purchased multiple times (Craftsman, Critical Attack, Alchemy, and similar skills) has the same cost each time you purchase it. Every rank of Craftsman you buy costs 2 BP no matter how many you already have.

Since you used Crafstman as an example, note that you can have as many different Craftsman skills as you want, and that there is no penalty for having a diverse set; my character has Innkeeper, Book-keeping, and Animal Trainer, and I'm getting ranks in Animal Breeder before our chapter's next event.
