STUDENT FILM COSTUME

Hello guys I am working on my semester film and was wondering if you guys could please point me to the right places to get costumes or costume designers that make affordable costumes as this is a student project. I am not looking for build quality but realism on camera at least. Ideally, I would like to have shoulder and arm armor, if possible chest plate. and if there are any guys that on this form that make costumes and feel they can work with me, please contact me at wilderbeast.movie@gmail.com I attached a couple pics online to give an idea of what im looking for. I am not particular about design or replicating a particular costume and not particular about genre. If it spills into cyberpunk thats fine. Also you possess used costume and want to sell off please drop me an email. Just want something that gives off Futuristic military costume vibe or screams sci fi. Thanks and looking forward to your replies.

Please check attached photos....they are off the internet but costumes are not limited to those pics

ummm...what area are you in? Some people may be willing to just loan you bits of gear or even wear them for you in your movie if you're local, depending on what they'll be used for.

I can make and replicate nearly anything with leather.

My standard bracers and shoulder armor start at $45 a pair and go up to $90 per pauldron. But if you making a movie and want big screen quality, then your gonna have to define affordable.. To 'weather and age' armor during creation and dieing is some tedious work. When I worked with the History channel, Bracers were around $100-$140 a pair and Pauldrons were $220 per side. The Assassin Creed Kidney belt I did for Ubisoft launch parties was $400, but it was 100% top notch, probably my best piece I ever made, and in the end they didnt even get to keep the belt. I know offer a similar piece, with not as much detail for half the price.

If you go with Black Leather, its a little cheaper as its really easy to just dull down black to make it look "weather and aged".

Take a look, see if you have any ideas
