Summer Plot Write-up Guidelines
Hey everyone – this Summer Plot cycle will be very different than we have done before. It should be a bit easier or at least help a little to figure out how to accommodate/respond. Below are the choices and their appropriate “Subject tag” so we can make sure everyone has a response or just updated character action history:
1) Summer Plot Write-Up (WISH): <character name>
a. This will allow you to tell us straight off the bat that you want to inform AGB Plot of your character’s intentions and goals for the Fall season and even into the next year. We will attempt to accommodate your character’s wishes to the best of our ability, but we would remind everyone that there are always limitations to the scope of our actions and yours within the context of world dynamics, world politics, and reasonability. This option is one of our favorites because it is something for us to work toward with/for you; it may come in stages and allows us to interact with you over a period of time. Please make sure to include whatever steps you are taking to achieve this so that we can get the ball rolling.
2) Summer Plot Write-Up (GUILD ACTION ONLY): <character name>
a. This will go immediately to our Guild specialist and team to help get you the appropriate credit with your guild as well as continue your actions to finding your research and write/perform your thesis. This is specific to those characters that have guild membership, those wishing to join, or those who are renewing their previous activity in the guild.
3) Summer Plot Write-Up (FYI ACTION): <character name>
a. This option allows you to tell AGB Plot about what activities your character is taking this summer, such as “researching Dryads in Icenia” or “Mist-hopping everywhere” or “train like a bad-a$$ on top of a mountain alone”. These actions require less action from AGB Plot except to keep your activities recorded. If you choose this option, please understand that you are more or less telling Plot what you are up to and your whereabouts during the summer with an expectation of a basic or simple response of a paragraph or so.
4) Summer Plot Write-Up (GUILD & SHORT RESPONSE ACTION): <character name>
a. This option allows you to send and FYI Action for your guild as well as a smaller plot action that will require a more involved plot response and may not be for the full 3 month summer break depending on your Guild action.
5) Summer Plot Write-Up (FULL RESPONSE ACTION): <character name>
a. This option is a standard plot response; it will be a more involved plot response and may have up to 2 separate actions. Keep time and location in mind when planning your action, (the land mass of Barran is approximately the size of Eurasia in the real world and cannot be traversed in a small time span, unless you are using magical means or Elder assistance). If you are in the Northern Coastal Districts of the Empire and want to go to Geistbadden in the Kingdom, please make sure to include how you are getting there (Fae Express, Horse, Walking, Sailing). If you do not provide a means to travel, this would leave the mode of transport to plot and may have unexpected results.
Your due date for these Summer Write-ups is 11:59PM, JULY 31, 2016. Any write-ups received after this deadline does not have a guarantee of being responded to.
