For many of you, the coming Forum will, in large part, focus on the scheduled tournament. I would have these be days of revelry and remembrance, a time to focus on what we have all fought for these last hard months, and why we continue to fight. Let this be a time to come together in good will with mutual respect as the competitors test their skills. Let this be a time we can all enjoy and learn from each other.
Doubtless, the lure of many of the tournament prizes may bring to these lands peoples from throughout Caldaria and beyond the veil of the Flux Tempris. This is well and good, for it allows us all to show beyond our borders the importance of holding back our myriad enemies from the Kingdom proper, as well as the enduring heart of those who defend the area on a daily basis.
Let the citizens of the Northern Territory remember our noble tradition of Hospitality during this, and all times. We welcome our guests to this land as though they are our own family. I expect those visitors of good will and civility to be treated as you would treat my own person. I expect that foreign dignitaries will be addressed respectfully and by the title they have earned in their homelands and according to their traditions.
Let the visitors to the Northern Territory know that your honor is also measured by how you accept our Hospitality. We are a community of laws and common purpose. I would expect no less than you would all treat my lands and my people as your own. I extend full respect, but no power over our rule of law, to those visiting dignitaries from elsewhere. All should know that by the will of His Majesty, we are all subject to his laws and will while dwelling within the lands of Caldaria.
To avoid confusion then, I would direct any visitors to these lands to seek out those empowered by the Crown, by myself as vassal to His Majesty, to speak for our laws and declare justice within my lands. To all common citizens and visitors alike, the word of these individuals is law.

Let me also address our visitors plainly as to the dangers of the Northern Territory. Though my House, and thus the people of Caldaria, bid you warm and peaceful welcome, these are not peaceful lands. The Wellspring draws to its mystery many dangerous monsters, most of whom would see all of us dead or enslaved. I urge all those unable to defend themselves with great ability, to travel the area under military escort.
It is with great confidence that I await our tournament. Let it bring together our Community and shine the light on our best and brightest. Let those visitors to our lands see not only the foes we fight to hold back, but the Community we fight to maintain.
