A rash of disappearances within the last 12 hours have devastated the community of Badril's Rest. The disappearances have been accompanied by an increase in attacks from Goblins, Trolls, and the like. Officials of House Carr found proof that the disappearances are connected these monsters. With no activity in The Badril's Rest Earth Circle, House Carr is assuming they are alive and launching a rescue operation.
We have been consulted by House Carr as they strongly suspect the creatures responsible have used the turbulent tides of The Absence to cover their pursuit. We have a rough sense of where they are being held near The Absence through careful use of the Seek The Whole ritual. We are asking that adventurers that are willing to assist the Wayfarer's guild be on standby so that when the tides of The Absence subside, we can use a March of the Untiring and rapidly bring you to their location before the conditions of The Absence changes.
In addition to the gratitude of House Carr and the citizens of Badril's Rest for rescuing their brothers and sisters, The Wayfarer's Guild is handling the financial side of things and is offering a bounty for the monsters the have kidnapped the citizens of Badril's Rest: Dead or Alive. House Carr desires to send a message to the indigenous monsters of the Wildlands that Badril's Rest is not their hunting grounds. The Wayfarer's Guild is obliged to assist the nobility deliver that message.
