Weapon Proficiency techniques and ranged weapons

Under the description for eviscerate, it says:
The Eviscerate applies to only one landed blow, and will remain active until the blow is landed...
Once declared, this skill must be called with every swing (or thrown weapon/arrow/bolt, including when wielding two weapons or swapping out weapons) or it is considered expended.

To clarify, does this mean eviscerate and any skills with the 'prepare to die!' incantation can be called with any available (and able to be used) thrown weapons, bolts/arrows until a 'hit' is made?

That is correct. A good way to think about it is that it is on the person, not the weapon. The person starts a PTD and the person must call the PTD attack with all weapon swings per the Prepare To Die rules.
