“It is the narrow, hidden tracks that lead back to our lost homeland, what contains the solution to the last mysteries is not the ugly scar that life's rasp leaves on us, but the fine, almost invisible writing that is engraved on our body.”

Athanasius Pernath, Grey Singer and Phuri Baro of the Vitsa of The Night*

Have they seen the last of the Necromoths? And what of the lost homeland of the Wayfarers that had been spoken of? In an empty void? In the middle of the Tenebrous? *OOG: The quote is actually attributed to Gustav Meyrink. The name Athanasius Pernath is a minor tribute to Meyrink as it is the name of the main character of the book The Golem by Meyrink, which is where the quote is taken from.
