I thrust a lot with my 1h sword, but it has a very intentionally well-built thrusting ti (that gets rebuilt seasonally at the first sign of wear), and I exercise sensible caution in thrusting because we don't require any protective gear.

Our combat isn't realistic. It is, in fact, not even remotely meant to be realistic. It's representative rocket tag. That said, I agree with a lot of the limitations. I don't even really like staff being able to attack with both ends as it stands, because people are terrible about watching...

Absolutely. I value the people who like to NPC and want to do it, because they generally make the game more fun for everyone. It just doesn't work out well for my particular situation.

I find doom blow suffers from the same problem Terminate and Eviscerate always have. They never land. Almost anything that isn't a crunchy as at least one 'no' on it, it seems.

I can be blunt about it. My 'home chapter' is a 3.5 hour drive one way and I work nights which means that if I'm coming to game, I'm burning PTO every time, and making every event for a year is an impossibility of scheduling. The event fee is a negligible part of the cost of attending, so...

I absolutely agree it would be 2HE, skills wise and per the weapon chart. However neither a generic 2HE tag nor a Two Handed Axe exist to be produced. Just Two Handed Sword. This seems like a simple typo, something left out of the list of production tags, not a major systems issue that...

How do you want to handle items that don't presently have an item number, because tags have not been issued? I tried emailing logistics last time, but that clearly wasn't sufficient to get things printed by game. ;)

Is there any chance we can get a fix for there being no such thing as an axe between 48 and 62 inches long? Either Polearms need to have a shorter minimum, or we need a Two Handed Axe that fills that range. Just a clarification that you can tag a 50" axe as a Two Handed Edged Weapon would be fine.

Yeah, I agree, Brent. I'm mostly just suggesting it's a workaround to avoid another batch of reprints. :)

ARC clarified on that back in April, but I agree the book's wording needs adjustment to reflect the intent.

I'd be hard pressed to retrofit one onto a commercial latex weapon safely as well, given that they generally have a much narrower blade profile than a boffer, and thus you'd need to essentially build out a platform or the tip would fold easily rather than compressing as intended. Kinda defeats...
