If you have any groups with coat-of-arms or other symbols, a silk screen works for those. Any intricate detailing on large amounts of stuff too. (so you don't have to spend forever staring at cloth with a paintbrush)

Re: Those with makeup races I will be on site from about 4ish to 5:30 to unload monster camp, then want to head back to my place to grab my stuff and eat. If you can get there early (I remember hearing you say you were anyways) I could do your makeup before heading back to my place.

I've always favored horns made of playdough. They're relatively lightweight, easy to sculpt, and are damn near unbreakable. Mine are painted and sealed with nailpolish, and there are holes drilled for the string to go through at the base.
