    Proposal: Reduce Negation abilities

And this circles back to the risk of bloat of Negation abilities to compensate, which will then just frustrate players into perceiving they are not having any effect. When I was on Plot (the first time), the single biggest frustration I heard from players was how frustrated they felt from...

    Gauntlet/light xbow

That is a fair point and good clarification. Thank you.

    Racial features: Ogres

This is going to sound bad, but there is a little bit of irony having a bunch of white people say "Are there any black or Asian people in the room offended by this? Guess not, so lets keep it the way it is." I mean, Rachel has already provided some links about people having a discussion on the...

    Racial features: Ogres

I feel that flippant hyperbolic commentary like this shows a lack of respect and degrades the underlying concerns. As well as detracts from the OP. The topic is trying to have a respectful request to change racial make-up in an attempt to be more respectful and welcoming to people of all...

    Proposal: Reduce Negation abilities

The reason I chose 10% was because the math is easier by just moving the decimal. e.g. 50 -> 5, 17 -> 1, etc. This is generally simpler than divide by 2 (35 -> 17, typically harder mental math to figure what half of something is than to move the dot). For results less than 1 (such as Adam's 4 ->...

    Proposal: Reduce Negation abilities

Hi everyone! I have been mentioning this for some time, but never created a proposal for discussion. Here is my proposal: Currently, there are a number of abilities and effects that completely Negate the effects they are defending against. Negation creates frustration in players because the...

    Damage scaling across the board

I had a thought of potentially leaving in Weapon Prof / Backstab as implemented in 0.9, but also give Fighters/Rogues innate Prof/Backstab increases at the same rate as a Celestial Wand.

    Making everyone important.

I still think the issue would be solved if defensive abilities were changed from "Negates the effect" to "Reduces/changes the effect". Whether it is a reduced duration, reduced damage, whatever, this at least has every ability actually do something rather than constantly seeing who has more...

    Damage scaling

Again, I feel the conversation is straying from the OP topic of damage scaling ...
