I'm actually a big fan of the change to the basic framework of how "upper tier" abilities are accessed. It's created a really flexible character creation and growth process. I'm really looking forward to seeing more character skill diversity over the 1.3 cookie cutter builds.

Perhaps try boiling water, applying some weights, then pouring the water over the plastic? Or soaking some towels in the boiling water and draping them on, then applying weight? You can then pour more boiling water on the towels as needed.

I didn't say balanced... I said fair. Everyone has access to the same skills, knows what they do, and knows how to counter them. And everyone knows that doing something stupid like casting necromancy in front of the nobility is a great way to get a dirt nap. It's not a balanced playing field...

PvP is inherently part of the game... all the rules can do is make it fair for all sides from a skill perspective.

I just want to say, one of the new things that got added was Weapon Strikes... and I'm honestly loving the functionality that they provide. They're clear, simple, and easy to understand defensively.
