Technically, earth/chaos aura, cloak, bane and AA are all replicable with build, it's just build in formal to use as high magic points. (AA sort of, celestial armor only goes up to 15 points). It's why many rits aren't spellcraft-able any more.
...what? I understand not wanting a pure-combat game or a pure-RP game, but if given the opportunity to go on a mod you know will be RP based (with possibility of combat) and a mod that will be mostly combat (with the possibility of RP) which would you generally choose?
My preference is RP...
Eagleye:
Some of us have made the decision to shy away from presuming to create any system of rank, respecting that there may be mortals-turned-elementals and mortals-turned-undead who may someday be restored to the civilizations that were once here. Our ways may not be theirs, and it would be...
I think a lot of chapters stopped printing long "rip-off" style tags because it uses more paper. Ask a local logistics person to hand you a new reduced value one, or if they're ok with writing the new reduced value on it.
*a female voice chuckles*
These lands are overrun by elementals, and so far the only mortals are adventurers and a few others who have arrived through extraordinary circumstances. Anyone who carries noble title brought it from another land. There are no laws or rules about visiting nobles, as...
-getting Paranoia'd right next to Akemi, both of us backing away from town and each other, and then having Lady Crazypants come wandering by. We were suddenly much more paranoid of her than each other. Thought we were gonna die, and I'm holding on to Ash's sword, shield, and belt not knowing if...
My cousins drove to my house one summer to stay for a week, and they saw the cross lit up on the way.
One of them told his teacher they drove past Jerusalem. He was 10 at the time.
That would be awesome to fix up and run a larp out of. Hopefully painting over the bible verses first.
There's nothing in the verbiage that says its automatic, IIRC, but am not currently looking at the scroll text.
If its someone spirit or an item in someone's possession, they have discretion over the resist being used. Similar to having resist commands but allowing yourself to be slept.
I'd...
I like that idea. Maybe make it so its a separate skill, "wear arcane armor," which must be purchased in order to wear it, unless the character has rit ranks.
If your fighter wants to wear 30 points of AA, it'll cost him equal build as a prof (if its kept at 1 build per additional point).
I'll see if I can snag a bunch of tapestries, and hopefully there are tacks in the bag along with it.
We'll figure something out for you, don't worry :)
If you scroll down on the main page, you'll see a list of all the chapters, and putting up a post like this in your local out of game boards will get you more specific information.
Some chapters have a new player representative that can tell you about things like necessary sleeping gear, or...
There aren't many here who offer the service of selling wards, and there isn't the typical setup of guilds and nobles here as there are in other lands. This Barran place, it sounds, still had civilization when the mists opened back up. It's not the case here. If no other celestialist hears...
The description on the satyr king card says fuzzy lower legs, and jeweled horns and eyes. I'd say stay away from faceted things on your face and horns, and make sure your costuming includes something to rep fur on your torso and arms, and some sort of facial prosthetic or paint.
Kyn aren't half...
Also, if you strike the other person's weapon with a magic storm strike while they are calling damage and striking your SS:MS weapon, you both take the appropriate damage.
It's supposed to exist for cases where rules were broken and a death results. Things like an NPC who doesn't have permission to killing blow or ensure resurrection doing just that, or increasing his/her own power level without plot or rules authority. In my mind its a failsafe to make sure that...
